![]() ![]() ![]() You need to fit the slightly larger stuff tube into the board. Repeat as necessary until the old part is freed from the board. Just cut away the existing epoxy that holds the original Brass tube and try to loosen the bond by turning the old brass in a back and forth in a circular motion (Not side to side, as you dont want to enlarge the plastic housing any more than needed. DO NOT USE A HEAT SOURCE, as it will melt the plastic. You will need to (carefully) remove the existing brass stuffing tube. It's not difficult at all, but will require a few more steps. If you need to change over to our flex shaft for your version 1 Kyosho Dude model there will be a bit more involved to fit the larger prop shaft support ( Aka - The brass stuffing tube) to fit. If your original straight shaft is working fine, It's best to keep it. The NQD Lisa and All Kyosho Models Have The Exact Same Specifications To Fit A Flex Shaft For A 5mm Motor. You Can Also Make One Yourself, Just go to The NQD Modification Thread And Look at The Flex Shaft Page. We Have Designed A Flex Shaft System For Both Kyosho Models (V1 & V2). So, We Had To Find Solutions To Keep Boards Running. I do see a few parts that are listed on Ebay Now And ThenĪnd If You Need Them, Grab them A.S.A.P Because these are getting difficult to find. I Can Honestly Say There Are No remaining Replacement Parts In Inventory. As Being A Certified Sales Distributor For The Kyosho Rc Surfer Kyosho produced replacement Parts until about 2006. Kyosho Stopped Production Of The V1 in 2000 and Then Stopped Production Of The V2 in Approx 2003 One Thing We All Have To remember is This: ![]()
